As part of its endeavour to continually improve user experience, Likee, the leading global short video creation platform from Singapore based BIGO Technology, h1wad launched the FaceMagic feature earlier this month. Further to this development, the company has announced a week long FaceMagic campaign which will be on from 25th December – 31st December.

To participate in the campaign, users must create a video using the FaceMagic feature and add the hashtag #LikeeFaceMagic. The video should then be shared with friends and family on the portal or through Instagram. Participants will be randomly selected to get exciting rewards from Likee in the form of virtual gifts such as diamonds, golden beans, medals etc.

Likee’s FaceMagic feature allows users to have some fun by morphing a celebrity face in any of their favorite dance/movie scenes with their own face and create engaging videos. They are free to use any of the videos available in the exhaustive video library of the app.

The feature is simple to use. Likeers simply need to click the “More” icon in the upper right corner of the video material preview page and upload the material template using the “Upload Material” portal. Since it is a new tool, the Likee team will review and approve each video in this section, providing useful content for its viewers.

Likee is available in different Indian languages like Hindi, Tamil, Marathi, Telugu, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam and Punjabi. Recently, Likee has also won the Guinness World Record for creating the ‘Largest online video album of people waving a flag in India’ during its ‘No matter where I am, #IAMINDIAN’ campaign. The campaign saw more than 1 lac Indians participating in celebrating India’s 73rd Independence Day. In the recent App Annie’s year-end report on app trends for 2019, Likee has emerged as No 1 in the breakout category and is also the 7th most downloaded app in 2019.
